Is this normal for the battery?

I wake up in the morning and my One is fully charged. I leave it plugged in and start using it for some gaming and FB posts. Used it for a couple of hours and the charge is now at 85%. This is while it is still plugged in. Is that normal?

I would say it depends on the game. If there is a lot of video rendering then you may see a battery drop while playing, even if on a charger. I have a couple games where if I plug in my phone, then play, there is no gain in charge.

It was Candy Crush, Dice, and Words With Friends. Just seems like there shouldn't be any net loss if plugged in. I appreciate your reply!

That has never happened to me before. That being said, I have only had the device for a couple of weeks and I refrain from playing games or doing anything intensive while it is plugged in to avoid overheating.

It all depends on what your running and what you have running in the background. The charger only charges at 1A so anything your doing that requires more than that, the battery level will fall.
