Is this normal?

I work in a steel building with some dead spots where I don't get a good data connection and what seems to happen is my mobile data network will disconnect and not reconnect till I tap on the mobile network button. It shuts it off by it self. I never have this problem outside of this this place. Is this normal do you think?

Yeah, I've seen this. It can be triggered abruptly when no network connection can be established. (i.e. LTE drops off but 3g/2g signals are nowhere to be found to swap with)

Thanks. One other question sometimes my weather sync goes unchecked think that is normal to?

The answer depends on what you mean by not updating/syncing. There's alotta variables at play.
Most of the time you can trace it to a conflict between sync and how power saver options are set up. What is it doing exactly?

Btw, I was never a fan of Sense syncing. It's far to finicky for my liking. I shelved all HTC weather/time widgets for a local news(3rd party) weather app, long before I even rooted. Never had any issues syncing that app since I installed it.

It will uncheck itself. Very weird. Any ideas?

That's a common occurrence for many. I don't know what your running or how you set it up so it's hard to say. I'd check settings, there's several things in there that can alter sync settings. Sync, power saving settings/options in both stock settings and 3rd party power/task managers, all can cause conflicts. There's several possibilities. It does this on custom Sense roms as well, so it's not exclusive to stock. You just have to do some Scooby Doo work to find a cause. I highly doubt it's a bug or your sync software is faulty.

I bet you it's the power settings. It has a bad habit of changing stuff, and not changing it back when it can use it. 4G is a great example. If you take the power setting off performance, you have to manually go in and turn the 4g radio back on. I bet you it does the same with syncing stuff. I am the same as Hump, I use other apps for weather and such.

Weird thing is I didn't change the power settings. What are your thoughts on beautiful widgets weather?

That is the clock I like to use. It's nice because you can set up shortcuts for different parts of the clock. Also, on the forcast screen, you can set it to launch another weather app, like weather channel if your into that sort of thing. The biggest plus, is you can customize it way more than the sense clock.

Thanks I will give it a try.
