Is this percentage normal?

After having my s7 for about 6 month,the battery life is non-existent. From 100% to dead in 3 -4 hours. Fast charging no longer works. When I charge using my cable,it says it will take 6+ hours to fully charge.wireless charging takes about 4. Charging time will change within minutes though. I lay on my charger and will say 3(ish) hours to fully charge. Then 3 min later it will say 4 and a half hours to fully charge.it appears that the system is using sometimes up to 90% of the battery. Is that normal? None of this can be normal,right? I've already did a factory reset,wiped the cache,tried multiple chargers.plus if I use it more that 20 min,it gets so hot it almost burns.i cant be 100% sure but it seems like it started after an update.

No, it is not normal. Have you cleared the cache partition and rebooted? As asked, is it under warranty?
If it's as old as my s7, you may need a new battery and a system reset. Can you post a screenshot of your battery usage?

Also no,its not under warranty unfortunately. I have wiped the cache and rebooted and even did a factory reset,still no improvement.

I figured that was my only option,but i keep coming back to the battery usage being so high with android system and had me wondering if maybe it was a bug causing it.i just hate to pay to have a new battery put in and the problem still continue because it was an issue with the software.

If you want to confirm, enter safe mode for a day and see if the battery life improves to rule out any rogue apps.
