Is this pop up on Samsung s6 a virus?

On my notification slide down I have a pop up that won't go away that says 'Information Message - New Message Recieved'. When clicked on it wants me to update my software and it does look like a genuine notification from Samsung, however the word 'recommend' is spelt with the N missing and the two buttons at the bottom are 'ok' and 'update'. No option for no, is this a virus? What is it?

I have it, too. It looks fishy, so I haven't hit either the okay or update button. I wonder how to get rid of it. Antivirus doesn't pick it up.

Try Malwarebytes

Have Malwarebytes. Doesn't detect anything. Message is very suspicious, though, and tries to tempt you into launching something as the only buttons are "update" or "okay". It's also being discussed on another thread.

I finally just pressed "okay" and it went away. Nothing else happened.
