Is this still worth it?

Amazon has it on sale for $120 and I'm wondering if it is still worth it or should wait for the Pebble Time?

You can get the Moto 360 for $149 on the Motorola site right now, and I think everyone would say that the 360 is far superior to the original LG G Watch. I'd only go for the G Watch if it were well under $100.

Agree with B.Diddy, I picked up my G Watch a good while back for $105.00 - at that time I thought that a fair price. Now I've been seeing them pop up for sale around $50-$60 lately - that seems a fair price at this postings time. I believe AT&T had the last sale to clear out old stock.
I still enjoy using my G Watch, but would not spend over $60 bucks to replace it if lost or broken now - I'd rather upgrade...

I like the g watch and don't think the moto is superior compared to it. They all run the same software and the g watch has the bigger screen.

Never was much of a huge moto 360 fan either but have seen the G Watch R on sale lately too. AT&T have it on sale (G Watch R) for $99 maybe there's some left.
That's the one I'd shoot for at this moment, if I didn't already have the G Watch.

Sorry, bad choice of words. Perhaps I should say that the general consensus among tech writers and bloggers is that they prefer the Moto 360. I think the main reasons for that are (1) the novel round design (although I prefer my squarish Zenwatch), (2) the brushed metal frame, rather than plastic, and (3) the standalone wi-fi capability (with 5.1.1).

I read that the WiFi feature may be included with this device and they migjt use it in a future update. Either way most writers and bloggers are only one person reviewing a item when its more personal preference.

I've seen many discount sites (cowboom, bradsdeals, etc) offer the original G Watch for about $80 USD.

The original G Watch is still good IMO and I think it's a matter of personal style / preference on which you prefer between it and the Moto 360.

At the moment, at least, my G Watch has 5.1.1... Can't say the same for my Moto 360 :( .

I agree you guys know no matter what watch you wear at this time the inside is all the same accept for having a wifi antenna and a few non significant differences or not it's just a matter of style the original LG G watch has all the functions accept wifi as I can see they all have at this point. Let's see how wifi capabilities work out so far I have no need for that function. I was a sucker and always is when it comes to gadgets I paid over $200 dollars a piece for me and my sons LG G, until it breaks or a compelling reason for me to buy a new one. I'm going to sit this one out. Maybe buy a apple watch just kidding :) I will live though you guys vicariously.

Moto's 360 have a slightly older weaker processor too, though not a huge deal.
I too plan to stick it out with the G Watch for the foreseeable future :)

Yeah I'm fine with my g watch. I'm waiting for someone to come out with a round watch that I really adore. I thought the urbane might be it but now it's looking a bit heavy/chunky and possibly uncomfortable for someone with small wrists. I think I'm also allergic to paying large amounts for disposable tech masquerading as jewellery. ;)

ordered one for $89 on amazon last week, should be here in a few days to pair with my G4. The Urbane looks awesome but i want to try out the wearables in general first before spending a few hundred on them.
