Is this typical battery life for the Galaxy Nexus?

Silly question, but how did you disabled the 5-minute check with Words w/ Friends? I too had terrible battery life originally. I wiped my stock phone back to factory settings and it improved dramatically...however since reinstalling various apps it is starting to slide in the wrong direction again. Has to be an app or apps. Frustrating. I love the phone, but having to turn off features in order to last a business day kind of defeats the whole purpose.
