That damn thing looks like it's another SMALLER phone's case being touted for this device. There is no way there should be a need for that much effort to fit into a holster.

It probably loosens up over time... but it does seem very tight to begin with. Let's keep our minds on the case here...

The guy was heavily breathing after he finished cramming the phone in and while trying to pull it out. :-! Imagine you are on the street when you phone is ringing and you have to answer.

IMHO I would return it. If you want a case like that I would suggest this one:

I have the one for the EVO but I'm pretty sure that HTC sites it as suitable for both. You won't have a problem fitting the phone in it.
