Is Verizon a Motorola dealer?

Is Verizon a Motorola Dealer? Weird question I realize.
I'm use to working in Car dealerships where Warranty repairs can be made at any "Brand Name" dealers.

Possible situation: A phone is purchased from "Store X" and the new phone is within the "1 Year Manufacturer Warranty". Can/will Verizon as a "dealer" help make a repair or replacement?

Verizon will handle all warranty repairs for you. Just call them up and they'll troubleshoot the issue then decide whether or not you need a replacement.

They do not "repair" the phone if it is hardware issues, they would replace it.
