AC Question

Hi,
I have a Samsung S6 around 4 moths old which have the Phantom presses problem (the back button presses itself on its own making the phone usable).
When I took the phone to the local samsung dealer, he pointed out that the warranty is not valid since the back glass is cracked (this was cracked around 1 months after I bought it).

Is he right? The phantom presses issue is not related to having the back glass cracked.
Am I entitled for free repair of the back button?

technically he is correct.
Physical damage to a device does void manufacturer warranty. Even if the two are unrelated they can still say that physical abuse led to the issue at hand.

It is indeed voided due to the crack in the back glass. Just as mentioned above, it will be lead to believe the device has been neglected and abused.

You can replace these parts yourself. They are inexpensive repairs compared to sending it in to be replaced by the manufacture.
