Is your phone protected?

I also like to show off my phone. I'm using the full body protection from Xtreme Guard. Currently $10. But if you buy 2 you get %77 off so total is less than $5. Also shipping is free. Then I use the Spigen Crumena leather pouch that was designed for the Galaxy Nexus to carry it around in. It's slim, sleek, and looks great. It also allows me to show off my phone while using it and protect it when I'm not.

Hope that helps.

How's the quality?

Still rocking the protectors that come on the phone, front and back. Have the Google bumper, which was ok. Liked the look, but it was too slippery for me, almost dropped the phone a few times with it on. Now I have the Rearth Ringke Fusion case. Love it, put the bumpers in a drawer.

I just bought 1 from them. It was $10 total. I was going to buy 2 but couldnt find a way to get the 77% off.

You have to update your quantity to 2 then add their promo code at checkout. The code is 77off2. Their customer service is excellent. I bet if you emailed them saying you want one more and the discount they'd do it.

Ballistis SG case. I had an extra screen protector from my Vivid. A little trimming and it fit nicely, not exact, but good enough.

I've been using Seidio Active cases since I had my HTC Sensation, so I made sure to have one for my Nexus 4 on day one. I really do love this case! As far as screen protectors go, no I don't use one. I've tried many over the past few years and they all feel like crap compared to naked glass. I can live with the small possibility of my screen getting scratched.

This glass really scratches easily. Scratch resistant...lies. smh.

If my HTC Sensation and Galaxy Nexus could survive my last job and come out with no scratches, I'm sure I'll have no problem keeping my Nexus 4 scratch-free.

I always set it on my desk at work which is really smooth, and I was bored so I was spinning it, and when I picked it up I look on the other side and there was deep scratches...Like ones you could feel. I felt my desk to make sure and it was perfectly smooth still so Idk. And on the screen how the edges of the glass are curved, that scratches easily as well.

Right now I am using a generic S TPU case. I got a cheap multi-colored bundled of the TPU cases on Amazon. To protect the screen I am using the Steinheil Ultra Oleophobic screen protector. It is more costly than most screen protectors but I like the Steinheil quality and it went on virtually bubble-free. I am not sure of the Oleophobic quality because I still see fingerprints on it when the display is off. The screen protector is very smooth and I don't feel any finger drag. I would stay away from the Zagg screen protectors due to orange peel, expensive and hard to put on.

About 2mos in & still naked - dropped a couple times but no scratches or cracks whatsoever.

I have a thin TPU case on mine from Diztronic.
LG Nexus 4 : Diztronic.com: Protective Cases for Mobile Phones

I previously tried a couple different thin hard cases but they didn't cover the bottom edges all that well and I realized I was getting small scratches on the chrome trim because I like to stand my N4 up in my car's cupholder when listening to podcasts. The Diztronic tpu case is only minimally thicker but offers loads more protection and is grippier as a bonus.

I don't care about protecting the glass - it feels so nice and slippy! :) . But that said, I went into meeting at work a couple weeks ago, sat my phone and tablet on the conference table in front of me, then casually tossed my pen onto the tablet. The pen bounced off the tablet and landed on the phone. A little 6" bounce. I discovered later that night that the display had a new quarter inch scratch in it, deep enough to feel with a fingernail , presumably from the pen's metal pocket clip. :(

I've tried it four ways: OEM bumper, Poetic bumper, Nilkin hard case, and naked. OEM bumper is a perfect compromise of protection and showcasing the phone design (at least to me). I did really like the Nilkin hard case too but I like the back of the phone. If anything unfortunately happens to the back, I will switch back or add a skin to the back to cover it up.

I was the same except I had the Poetic Atmosphere case. Love the Nilikin case except for the position of the power button. I am liking the OEM bumper but I do find that it is a little bit wide and doesn't quite fit as well in your hand for one hand use. I find myself reaching a lot which also can cause you to drop it.

So far not a scratch. Only one minor drop.

I just purchased the Durables Wallet for the Nexus 4, made by DODOcase. My friend has one for his iPhone - I am pretty excited they're offering the collection to Android users now :) I can't wait for it to arrive...review soon to come.
