i-smart mini android stick how to transfer data to sd card

i have purchased a i-smart mini computer stick (by ElectriQ), and although the instructions state that once installed into the SD card slot, all apps and data will automatically be stored on the external memory ie:- SD Card.
i purchased a 64 gb SD card so my internal memory of 1Gb wouldn't fill up too quickly.
Please can someone help.

The Smart Stick appears to be a phone to TV adapter, like Chromecast. IT'S apps probably transfer to the SD card, the phone's apps don't. (There's almost no information about the particular device, although Google is full of "smart mini stick" listings.)
