It took me 5 hours on the evening on July 31. The servers were over loaded and dropped the download several times. Did not have to change time but I did have to keep trying. It has a lot of BLOATWARE APPS you can not Uninstall. I would just wait a few days.

I was stuck at 58% last night and a couple times it acted as though the update was lost. I restarted a couple times and each time it picked up where it left off. I was 4 hours into it, so I plugged it in and left it overnight. This morning it finished in about 20 minutes and all is well.

I just checked again and it let hurray NOT
The timer now says 267 hrs
Im reading on line that their is an app that forces the app that checks to reset but I can't find it.

Dang at this at this rate I'm going either have to skip this one or wait till it comes to kies.

Think this is just a load of bull that they have a timer

Previously there was a way to reset the timer by force closing and clearing the AT&T Software Update under your application management setting. This allowed you to then check the servers again. However, I believe AT&T locked the app down so you may be forced to wait out your timer unless someone else has any other suggestions.

I've read you can try a hard reset and that should reset the timer. But I would do that only as a last resort since it wipes everything clean. So be sure to backup everything first. I'm not entirely certain it will actually work since I haven't personally tried it. I've got something like 60 hrs per the timer so I'm just waiting it out. Good luck.

Thanks for the clarification. I might give that a try then.
