Issue opening pdf files on Galaxy s6 edge

In the last couple of weeks I've had an issue opening pdf files. They seem to open as a php file. The same files open normally on my galaxy tab. They're opening using Office suite Pro - I've tried to take this off as default app but don't think it's worked.
For about the same amount on a few apps I've had a message coming up about a screen overlay and that I need to turn this on - when I go into settings I can see the options but I'm unable to physically slide the on/off slider.
Any help would be appreciated as it's really annoying me now!! Thanks.

Hello Vicky, welcome to the forums. Take a look at this thread about the overlay error. For most users the culprit was Clean Master or any other app by Cheetah Mobile.

Hoping someone can help with my other issue too....
