Issue then play store on cricket moto G

Hey folks,

Last night I one 2 new cricket moto G phones. Every thing is working fine but I notice they have app store 4.9 and when I go to my apps they don't show the locally installed apps like Google maps, camera app, Gmail client and so on. However if I search for them I can update them. And both units do it. After I search for them then they start showing up. Our HTC one and moto G LTE both have play store 4.8 and don't have these issues. I tried formatting one with no luck. Cleared the cache and even reset good services. Any thoughts at all? Starting to run out of ideas. Freshly open 4.2 Android phone. Nothing tinkered around with. Again I feel like I'm missing something. They both do it. (also a Gmail account has been added. Both fairly new.)

ANdroid Store 4.9.13 I think is the version they are running. My HTC One only has 4.8....Is this how the new play store will run maybe? We can not tell it to update apps manually?
