Issue transferring files on Nexus 5X after 8.1.0

Hello all,

I have a Nexus 5X that I use to listen to music. I connect the phone to the computer then using the drop down menu change it form charging to transfer files like this picture.

After the OS update the drop down menu is there but when I click File Transfers nothing happens.

Have people seen this problem.

As a side note, I have noticed that the spacebar is much smaller after this update and I often hit the period "." which is really annoying as It capitalizes the next word. Is there a way to complain to the Android staff who handles that part of the OS?

After clicking File Transfers, nothing is supposed to happen. The next thing you do is plug the phone into a computer, find it in the computer and transfer files to it (drag and drop). All that menu does is set the phone up properly for power in, power out, file transfer, photo transfer (which is file transfer but it only shows you photos [don't ask me why - I've only been in the computer game for 45 years] or as a midi player. Sets it up. It doesn't do what it's set up for, you have to do that.

Late response but the thing is it used to show up on "My Computer" as a device that I could drag and drop files in and out of. Now after this recent OS update when I change the mode to transfer files I no longer see my phone in "My Computer". Im trying to figure out how to fix this so I can edit the files on my phone
