Issue with G-Mail App

So I wanted to check my g-mail and I opened the app and it said no connection available. I'm not sure how this could be as I have a 3G signal. Now it's been saying "Loading conversations..." for the past 10 minutes. Whats up?

Try creating a Gmail mailbox and not using that Red GMail app. I like it better. I then added Mail Inbox shortcut to my Home Screen.
