Issue with rebooting into recovery

Hey guys, I have been trying to reboot into recovery and it reboots intsead into bootloader? has anyone had this problem? Ive tried a manual reboot or thru ROM Manager.

the recovery is accessed through the bootloader. to which you have to have the bootloader installed. as in unrevoked or amon ra.

I've had the same problem, but can't remember how I fixed it. I was in between Sense and AOSP.

Maybe just dl the PC36IMG.zip (for amon ra 2.3 evo) to the root of your SD card and boot into the bootloader? Vol up to apply update? Sorry if you've tried this.
