I guess I need learn from my mistakes. Everytime I post a big thing asking a bunch of questions I get nothing. So I will ask one at a time.

My issue is when going to look at your phone you of course are sometimes flipping it to and frow. If I am checking a text and I move the phone and inadvertent rotate or flip the screen it moves the screen to the beginning of the text. Meaning if you have been texting with your wife since you bought the phone and havent deleted the messages then it puts you back through pages of texts. You then have to scroll all the way back to the current spot.

So if this is a feature, fine. If I can turn it off, good. If there is a way to flip or rotate to get it back to current, thats ok too.

Noticed the same thing. Would love a fix but sadly I feel like it is just a bug. Someone who uses an aftermarket texting app might be able to give insight, I just have been dealing with it for the time being.

Same thing happens to me on occasion. I'm using Hangouts as my default SMS app. It also happens to me with hangouts instead of sms, though it doesn't go all the way back to the beginning, usually just a few pages.

I just had this happen for the first time today using the stock app. I have had this randomly happen on other phones as well. Hopefully it can be fixed with an update. I didn't notice it happening with the Verizon Message app. I'm just trying the stock app to compare the two.

I have been an advid hangouts user. I like the intergration of the stock app. When I was having battery issues hangouts seemed to be up on the list and figured if I didnt need it I would just switch to stock. So far this is the only issue. I thought maybe it was a feature to onehanded just back to the start. If that was true I figured there would be a trick to justing to current message.

Using on AT&T and checked several and mine doesn't do it. It goes to the most current message.
