Issue With Texting

When I receive a new text from one of my contacts, it shows the image in the top notification bar and the number of texts received. But when I go into the app (chompSMS), it doesn't highlight her text thread and bring it to the top. In that preview, it only shows an old text convo I had with her until I actually open the thread up where it shows the new text. The preview never updates and has been stuck with that text ever since yesterday despite all the new ones I've received.

I try sending her a text but it won't allow me to and when I back out it tells me that my message will be discarded due to it having invalid recipients. When I'm in the thread of our convo, it doesn't show her name or number or contact picture at the top bar so it's as if I'm sending a text to no one. The only way I've gotten a text through to her is to manually go to my contact list, find her, and hit message to send her a brand new one. I can't even see any past text messages anymore. Anyone else having this issue?

Never had any of these problems, it might be worth trying handcent out.

The weird thing is that this is only happening to *one* of my contacts. All of the other ones within the displayed threads work fine. For now I'm just going to my stock Messenger whenever I need to reply to her but I might try out Handcent too.

I think I've heard this before. I think I read its a glitch in the app. Is your app up to date

Weird thing is that I've even tried using the stock Messenger only, not even an aftermarket sms app. And the stock touchwiz messenger gives me the same problem. Preview shows a *very* old text and it doesn't put her text up top notifying me it's hers. And it'll also make some old texts disappear or one day it can be a completely blank convo.
