Issue with unlocking Bootloader

I have just reinstalled android SDK and the google usb driver (manually) when connecting either my Nexus 7 2013 or 6P and typing adb devices in my command prompt it doesn't show any devices. I have attached an image of my adb interface driver with an exclamation mark at the side of it. Any advice? adb driver.png

right click on the adb interface and update the driver, go through "choose the driver from the list" and you should be able to select the ADB driver and add it.

I'm seeing in my new windows installs that I have to add the ADB driver manually that way both when it is powered on in debug mode, and then again after it reboots into the bootloader.

I'm not all that great at using adb and what not, but I was having the same issue when trying to sideload 6.0 on my nexus 5. I was blaming it on windows 10 not working with it, since I updated the drivers manually, followed different tutorials and got nowhere when typing adb devices.

However I think I tried "fastboot devices" and it popped up right away and I was then able to sideload. Idk if that helps or is the same thing?

Are you also on windows 10?
