I just ordered a Pixel 3 because I've had ongoing mic issues with my OG Pixel.


A day later, I start reading about more mic issues, on the 3. Very annoyed!

My wife’s 3XL has this issue while mine doesn’t. Can’t say why but it’s frustrating to get the call and have distortion and echoes - we switch to WhatsApp call and everything is back to normal!

I am constantly amazed at what I read. I'm even more amazed at how at odds what I read is with what I'm experiencing. I've had no problems with my Pixel 3, or any previous Pixel or Nexus I bought.

Simple.... Not every device within a particular brand or model will suffer the same issues. Many of the issues regardless of brand or model are perceived as problems relative to the amount of coverage they get. If I were to try to buy a device based on what I read regardless of where I read it I wouldn't buy anything.

Google stands behind their product and will replace it. I don't see how that could result in a lawsuit. A class action suit for a defective product usually only happens when a company doesn't acknowledge a widely known issue and doesn't take steps to remedy the problem as in repair, replace or refund
