Issues since ICS

Ever since I updated my rezound to ICS I've been getting horrible battery life and constant force closes. The battery issue gets me the most. I turned off 4g and it hardly makes a difference it seems. The facebook app keep force closing. I seem to have to log in atleast 3 times a day and re-sync everything. I know the rezound doesn't have the greatest battery life. I've never had issues with apps closing on me like this before. Anybody else experiencing these problems?

Hate to say it, but it sounds like you need to factory reset.

I am having issues with the Facebook app as well. I think it might be that crappy app and not ICS.

Started v having problems with facebook tonight, its freezing up and I have to shut it down.

I've never had to do a factory reset before. I may give it a try. Before the ICS update I would never get force closes..now as soon as I restart my device the first thing that pops up is "crackle has stopped working".... I don't even remember the last time I used that app. WTF is going on?!?!

I resisted doing a Factory Reset, but I succumbed about a week ago. It was not hard and well worth it. I used MyBackup which seemed to work. My phone is running much better, with much improved battery life (though no better than before the update), and is running much cooler.

Just do it!

Issue fixes:

1) FACTORY DEFAULT RESET!!! If you are having issues with ICS and got it OTA, do this first, until you do you will have problems.

2) Facebook - See #1, then if that fails, uninstall all updates to FB, the latest updates seem to break things for some people and not others across all brands/models/OSs, including iPhone!

3) Crackle - Not familiar with it, did you do #1? If so clear the apps's cache, then if needed, uninstall and reinstall, many apps behave differently under ICS, some do not like going from GB to ICS without uninstalling and reinstalling.

I did the reset. Still having the facebook problem. I had to restart my phone 3 times for it to pick up a signal. I hate to say it but I feel the rezound ran better on GB.

I'm on my last straw as well here. I've been trying to avoid the factory reset, but will have to bite the bullet and do it. I've had similar issues as the OP. My data connection also appears to be slow and takes a while to get going and cuts in and out. Sometimes it feels like I'm being throttled, but I "only" use 3-4gb a month so who knows. My bluetooth has been flaky since the ICS update and now it's finally crapped out on me and won't turn on at all. I do hope the factory reset fixes all this. I'll be doing that later today so I'll report back later on the results.

First off, the FB app is and always been a pile of crap. it sucks

factory reset is the only way to do a proper upgrade

The day I received the CLNR Rezound for my bolt is the day ICS was released. I have always had issues with FB on the bolt and once in awhile on the Rezound. But no comparison. REZOUND has been awesome

And yet, I have never had a single issue with the Facebook app and I use it multiple times everyday... BUT everytime an update comes out, I have to force stop all FB processes, clear data, then uninstall the app, reboot, and then install the new version. Not sure it will work for everyone, but from the days when I have my Inc2 this was the only way I could keep it working reliably.
