issues with eBay site on Samsung galaxy tab4

I am not sure what's going on, but when I try to view stores or store items on ebay, the page will freeze, and I cannot get out of it unless I close the window and reopen a new one. I dont use the ebay app. My boyfriend has the same tablet, and his doesn't do that. Accessing the eBay site from my phone works fine, too. It does not occur with all ebay sellers or stores; just the ones that use a listing service. While the eBay page freezes, I can still go over to my other open tabs and navigate just fine (like amazon, etc). A few days ago, i wasnt experiencing any issues and everything worked fine. Signing in and out again, powering off the tablet and turning back on again doesn't work. I am new to android, so I don't know what to do.

Freeze, or just take a VERY long time? Sometimes there's something on the page from another site (like a picture of the item) that's taking so long to load that you think the page froze (I'm talking 5 minutes).

I believe it is freezing, not taking a long time loading. The countdown clock on the item page doesn'the count down, and the little circle in the tab that continues to turn until the page is loaded stops turning (sorry... i know there's probably a word for that). I have never waited as long as 5 minutes, but if I hit the back arrow to try to get to the previous page,
the address for the previous page will be displayed in the address field after the little circle stops turning, but the page that froze will still be the page displayed. I am using chrome, but so is my boyfriend, and his tablet seems fine. I looked at the eBay forums, and some sellers are complaining that their sales have sharply declined in the past few days, and some other users are reporting the same problem.

I tried viewing the same eBay stores on my next book quad core, and it works fine. It works well from my galaxy alpha phone, too. I didn't have these issues the weekend before... This all started this weekend, so I am inclined to believe I may have clicked on something, or changed a setting inadvertently. Any ideas?

I cleared the cache and browsing history on my chrome app, didn't resolve the problem. Anything else I can try? Ebay has been glitchy, lately, but these issues only seem to be affecting my tablet.
