I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I use MP3dit as my MP3 editing app. I also use Rocket Player as my music player. Some of my MP3's won't let me edit the Album Artist and the album artist ends up being "LBUM ARTIST", "LBUM ARTI", "LBUM A", "LBUM", or "LBU". I have tried editing the files in MP3dit as well as editing the tags in Rocket Player and the Album Artist always remains one of the names listed above. However, some of the songs will allow me to change some of the other tags just not the album artist tag. The files are not corrupt. They play just fine in Rocket Player and they are ALL mp3's. Its just the Album Artist tag that I can't get to change.

If anyone knows how to fix this please help!

Moved from the More Samsung Phones forum to the S5 forum.

Have you tried editing them using a desktop program, like Media Monkey?

No, I don't have a desktop computer. I only have my phone. Most of the mp3's edit just fine. It's some that have this issue.

Are all of the files on Internal Storage, or are the problem files on an SD card?

They are on a micro sd card. But the problem happens when they are in the internal storage too. And it happens on every micro sd card i've had.

I can edit my MP3 using ROCKET PLAYER. Have you tried using the cloud services automatic renaming tool in ROCKET PLAYER?
