Question Issues with eSim and Sim in general

Hello, new user struggling on Samsung S21 5G.
My sim slot was broken for a while, so I switched to eSIM, and the eSIM stopped working all of a sudden. The issue is that every eSIM that is added is listed as "Unknown number," and regardless of location, there is never a signal. Right now, the top left of the screen, where there was carrier information, is completely blank.

I have contacted my SIM provider, US Mobile, to no avail, and I am starting to wonder if this issue is a hardware problem.

Not sure how ome breaks a sim slot but at this point you can try removing the eSIM and reading it. If that doesn't work, order a physical SIM, assuming the physical is fixed. Once a physical is converted to digital it's "bricked" and can't be reused.

If the physical doesn't work, factory reset. If it still doesn't work, either the phone or carrier. Get a cheap prepaid SIM to see if it's the phone.
