Not the most tech savy person by far, however after the most recent OS update on my Galaxy 9 (believe it was the "Oreo" update) I am experiencing a few annoying issues that have soured my once profound love for this phone. Most concerning to me is that now I am seeing a weak charge notification from time to time. Before, this would only occur on a hot day when my phone was inside the car. Now, it occurs almost daily when I'm trying to charge my phone and use apps that never required that much battery usage before.

Secondly, and I have seen this complaint already, is that I can no longer assign a custom text tone to an individual contact. I cannot tell you how useful I found this feature. I had to download Android messages in order to be able to use it, however I prefer the texting app that comes with the phone.

Has anyone else been experiencing these issues, specifically the charging issue? Does anyone have short term solutions? Do we know if Samsung is going to issue a patch or anything soon to address them? My carrier is T-Mobile if that helps.

Thanks.

Just try to recovery it with smart switch or send it to where you bought it you still have your warranty it Will costs nothing and if they dont found anything wrong with it, you dont pay nothing though.
