Android Central Question

Hi everyone. I receive alot of Instagram notifications of people I follow. I get over 30 notifications a day from Instagram. But what I can't seem to understand is that the newer notifications seem to replace the older onces and so when I pull down the notifications shade (Pull-down menu) I only see the most, or somewhat recent instagram notifications only. I installed an app called Notifications archive and I can see that I miss alot of notifications in the pull down menu. I also have an iPhone and in the ios structure all Instagram notifications are grouped together and expand when tapped on it thus seeing all previous notifications. Am I doing something wrong?

How do I get to see all my Instagram notifications on the pull down menu in android 10?

Thanks for the help :-)

Welcome to Android Central! When you pull down then notification panel, does anything happen if you swipe down on the Instagram notification itself?

The notification shade will hide notifications in an app group beyond 5, but as you swipe away notifications older ones should slide up into view.

This is a default function of the OS, I don't believe this can be changed unless you want to modify the source code and build your own ROM for your device.

Sorry hit the submit button too soon. The device I'm using is the S20 Ultra. And when I swipe away an Instagram notification or open the app itself the rest of the notifications regardijg Instagram just vanish. Unlike in ios where the test stays and you can individually open them untill all were opened.

And funny enough all other apps do perform well, it's just Instagram that doesn't show me the older notifications at all. I have the oppo find x2 pro aswell and it does the same thing. Hence I was thinking it's an android 10 thing.
