issues with kit kat staying at jellybean 4.3

I recently got a replacement samsung note 3 right....The previous one I had battery drain was awful...so I open up my note 3 replacement and it had 4.3 and I'm going to keep it that way until 4.4.3 comes out because the battery lasts so much longer on 4.3 and tech support told me the same thing....not that I get many people with Att customer care that knows what they're talking about lol....just thought I would share my situation because I've read on these forums people have had the same issues..

You might want to do a factory reset or clear cache after the updated. Mine works great without any issue.

Hard reset is the answer that every tech support rep has told me and that hardly ever works...lol..I've tried that too..Battery life is not as good on Kitkat though..
