Issues with lock screen

I recently started having some issues with my lock screen...just trying to see if anyone else is seeing the same problems. Whenever I get a text message or some sort of notification, I'll pick my phone up and hit the power button to unlock. Once the screen wakes up all I get is a black screen? All I can see is the edge tabs on the right and the time in the right hand corner. Anybody else running into this or know what to do to fix it? It just started doing this today...

I've seen it a couple times. I think it's the night clock feature on the phone? If you read the description for it, I think it's the same thing, but I'm not sure how often the phone will try to put up the clock.
