Issues with Microsoft Edge Browser

Is anyone having issues with the Microsoft Edge browser? Specifically having to tap and hold on browser tabs to activate them, and not being able to close a tab? I've had this issue for at least a year with his app on my Galaxy Tab S6. I'm wondering is the problem my S6 settings or the app?

I've had so many problems with Edge on Windows that the only time I use it is when Windows uses it despite Edge NOT being the default browser. (It's as bad, in its own ways, as IE 5.5 was in its. And that's saying a lot - until now, 5.5 was the absolutely worst browser ever contemplated.) Use Edge on my phone? No thanks.

I just got the Tab S7+. Edge was ok on the Tab. Didn't have to long press on the tabs to make them work. This is my first non-PC so I have no further experience to help you with.

This may sound silly, but make sure the Tab's system is up to date and the Edge browser is up to date.

I've had so many problems with Edge on Windows

I use Edge on my Mac and it works much faster and without issues compared to Google Chrome. I also use it on my phone so that's why I'd like to use it on my Galaxy Tab S6.

My S6 firmware is up to date, and I have the latest version of Edge.
