I am having issues with the Pelican Voyager (Clear) case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I am having trouble getting consistent response from the touchscreen (specifically keyboard and touches from the edges of the screen). My assessment of the issue is that the protective screen is every so slightly larger than it needs to be. The result is that it "bubbles up" slightly. Another way of putting this is that there is a thin layer of air in some areas underneath the protective screen. I cannot see myself using this protector moving forward. I am posting here to find out if I just have a defective unit or if this issue is widespread. Feedback appreciated.

I don't know about the Pelican, but I've always used the Otterbox Defender on my Note 3, and never had that problem (with 3 different Defender cases). There is a difference in the "feel" of the screen with and without the case, but I never had a problem touching the screen or using the pen. (And that's in 4 years, and through numerous drops.)
