Issues with read receipts

Anyone else having issues I have it turned on and my wife also but it doesnt work, we are on At&t not sure if it's a network ordeal or what.

So is it AT&T specific message app?

If it's a carrier specific message app then it's probably possible if both phones are that carrier branded Android phone using the same carrier messaging app. If it's not working yeah probably you would need to contact AT&T. It worked fine on your previous phones?

What message app are we talking?

There are so many message apps. At least on the unlocked model, in Samsung message app I don't see any toggle for read receipts in settings.

No where in the message settings I can find the option for read receipts. That's why I was asking was it some AT&T message app.

My question is, so the Samsung messages app has read receipts option on some carriers and not on others? Because I don't see on mine (Verizon) and yes I know mine is unlocked and his AT&T.

Is this related to RCS?

Yes I sure did. It works with my friends who have S9 but not my wife who also has a Note 10 plus.
