Not getting any notifications from apps

I used to get notifications on my watch ultra for a lot of my apps on my phone. Now with the 8 classic I'm not getting any. For instance the ring app. I would get notifications now nothing. I have it checked to show notifications on both phone and watch and still nothing. When I set it up I set up as a new watch. No backup used.

What am I doing wrong?

Did you check the settings to receive notifications on both? I'm not wearing my Samsung watch this morning but I know there's a setting where you get them on one you don't get them on the other.

Yes I checked the option for showing notifications on both phone and watch. I am literally not getting any notifications from any app on my phone.

Did you try a phone reboot? Once you disconnect watch is the phone getting notifications?

I got it. I fumbled upon a setting for the apps and had to turn them all on. But thanks for the help.
