So Far I love it but I am unable to get apps. I goto samsung gear on my note III and everything seems to work but when I click on Samsung gear apps it says I need an update. But the update fails and sys try again later. Someone recommended uninstalling it and reinstalling it. Look in your account manager. There are tons of apps in there now with the same gear icon. Not even sure if I have unload one or all to re install.
There is an option to update later but it tells you you need the update to continue.

Is any one else seeing this or am I the lucky one.

Not sure if having bluetooth connection issue. When I came back into range the GS never reconnected with the phone. It did allow me a chance to tinker with both device in remote mode. The call fowarding needs to be better. Almost 30 seconds or so went by before it forwarded to the GS. Be default AT&T network is set to 20 sec before forwarding calls. The only solution to manually forward if you know you're going to be away from the phone.

Even after a reboot the phone never connected back to Gear Manager. Hard to tell if it's buggy from the Gear Manager or AT&T disabling certain function.

I can't change the voice mail number to my Google Voice. Looks like I'm gonna do some research on XDA. But there definitely some carrier specific things going on.

I found a work around to the problem. You have to click on Samsung apps directly outside of the gear manager and it works.

I can't get Google voice or any voicemail for that matter to work either yet.

I'm researching too...

There seems to be a delay when remote connect works and call forwarding. Not sure if it's suppose to

Here's an issue. So if you get text or voicemail to your Gear S number, you will not see them till you're in standalone mode. This is because when the phone is connected to your device it acts as an extension to your phone and changes the number to your device. It doesn't switch back till in standalone and you will see texts or voice calls that may have not known you had. That's a bug.

I can't get my Gear S to pair properly with my rooted Note 3. It is definitely a problem with my phone as I paired the Gear S with my wife's S4 and no issues, it was up and running in no time. I have uninstalled Gear Manager 5 or 6 times, I have removed root and re-rooted, try disabling software and no luck. No I am having issues installing Gear Manager. At this point I am going nuts and might have to return the Gear S. The funny thing my Note 3 was working fine with my Neo just yesterday. :'(

Are you using Gear Manager or Samsung Gear? I'm not sure if it's the same app or not but maybe that's the problem. Gear Manager may only be for older gears. I will look into it.

From my smokin' hot Note 4

the app is called Samsung Gear Manager.

Apparently I am not the only one having the problem as the reviews for the app in the last 2 days are rife with similar issues. I hope that means someone will come up with a solution soon. I have wasted a lot of time on this at this point.

My problem is with the call forwarding. It worked once. Then when I left my phone in the car again it said it could no connect. The main reason for this watch was the call forwarding. It sounds to me that samsung may need to send out some updates to the gear manager and the gear s. Or att needs to fix something on the network side.

I talked about this in the call forwarding issue thread. I have my suspicions is because wifi is in it doesn't work properly
