It arrived today!

Hi guys, thanks for the questions, here goes:

The back doesn't feel like real leather, nor does it feel plasticky and cheap. It feels more like hard, premium plastic than soft touch.

Well coming from the Nokia Brick, the features seem a bit overwhelming at first, but then I realise how much I have missed out on over the past few years.

One thing to be wary of, the S-Pen needs to be pressed a -tad- harder (than the Note 2) to get the sensor recognising input, such as in Action Memo. I only know this by using various shop's demo Note 2s.

About the stitching, it is either plastic moulding made to look like stitching or real stitching covered in a layer of hard plastic. It is definitely not "bare" real stitching (string). But whatever it is, it doesn't feel cheap.

Here is the sticker:

(This was taken with my Note 3 :P)

Finally I am on Hutchinson 3G (UK) otherwise known as 3.

Many thanks for posting the sticker. I guess I'm going to have to get the Octa version. I would have preferred the Snapdragon version but oh well. Thanks again :).

Can you do some more sample photos for us? Really curious as to how they will look outside, inside, low light/low light with flash... Also when you are under the camera go to settings, and you will see resolution, click on that and make sure it says 13MP.. They shipped the S4 defaulted at 8

Thats a nice box! Ita just about as n8ce as them iphones. Lol.

Im jealous.

OP, what country do you live in? Asking because you have the S800 version and not the Octa Core.

He presumably is in the UK, hence the 3 UK network.

Do you mean the S-pen has to be pressed against the screen harder, or the S-pen button has to be pressed harder with your finger? IINM the button sensitivity can be adjusted by turning screws on the S-pen.

I don't know if the sensitivity of the screen contact can be adjusted, but I'm thinking it can be...?

I think he meant the s pen button has to be pressed harder. Then again it's natural for display model to have a looser button than a brand new pen.

Also played with the note 3 at the att store. The back is definitely all plastic with the stitching molded into the back plate. Still has a nice premium textured feel though so no problems. It's just a shame that comparing the note 2 next to it, I would've sworn the screen is same size unless you showed me the spec sheet.

did you want a bigger display for the Note 3? like Mega size but with full HD 1080p?

i'm getting the Nexus 5, Note 3 is beautiful just a little too big for me - but still usable. Mega is just too big for me to carry around comfortably - but cool device nonetheless.

I meant the s-pen needed to be pressed against the screen harder. I'm not sure if this is only my s-pen. I used the store spen on my device and it seemed as if I didn't need to press as hard to get it to write. The difference is nearly negligible though.

There is a workaround for this, it basically just requires an unlock code and a hard reset.

Nice upgrade man! :) I went from a Samsung Admire to the GS4 this year, sooooooo much better. Congrats

I got mine in from Negri today and to my surprise there wasn't a sticker on my box and the back cover has a 4G branding on it.
