I have a feeling I won't be getting this anytime soon. With all the problems im seeing I would assume they will halt update to non soak testers for awhile.

Gotta say I find it ridiculous that vzw and Motorola couldn't get this right. The hardware is so similar to the X that it should have been a relatively simple matter to convert it for the droids. Ridiculous.

Got the update to 4.4 yesterday morning and am having no issues now. I use Nova Prime and at first hitting the home button was taking me to the preview page with all home screens and I had to touch the screen to get just my home page. Found out that somehow the update had changed my setting in Nova under "Gestures and Buttons" and then "Home Button." Changed it back to "Default Page" instead of "Show Previews." That fixed that. Then I have always had problems with connecting to my home Wi-Fi. I still had issues after the update and received some great help from a Mod on Motorola private forum. Disconnected ("forgot") from my home Wi-Fi, rebooted my router and then re-signed in to my home Wi-Fi. It immediately helped! Then I've had trouble with Google Play Store being slow (no probs on any browsers, just Play Store) and it was suggested to clear the cache and reboot phone after. That did the trick!

Now some of this with the Wi-Fi and the Play Store was not new or caused by the update. Only the issue with the home button at first was directly related to the update. Otherwise I am having no problems and enjoying the improvements!

I don't think anyone should be afraid to install 4.4, unless maybe you have rooted your phone.

With Nova prime are you now able to get transparent notification bar now that you have kit kat?

No, I'm not getting the transparent notification bar and I did go into Nova settings and click that. I'm not sure if it's an app I'm using that is preventing it or if it just doesn't work. I would be interested to know if anyone is able to get the transparent notification bar now with KK.

Edit! I do have transparent notification bar. I was thinking it would be transparent when you swipe down.

Haven't gotten mine yet. I've been checking. Just got the phone and already excited about getting an update.

Did *#*#2432546#*#* for the laughs though. Not that it'll magically work. If it did, we'd all be doing it. Or figuring out how it works for Mega Millions and Powerball.

Only with certain wallpapers? I notice that's a stock wallpaper. Does it work with any custom wallpapers?

Btw totally normal for transparent status bar to only work on home screens. Also true of n5 and Moto X.

It looks like a lot of people got invites for the soak test, got he software, but didn't get invited to participate in the forums. Moto said a limited amount of people were going to be invited to be in the forums. I can't really give out the link for it since they only gave it to the number of people that they wanted to get feedback from.
