It's just too slippery in my hand without protection. I actually prefer the feeling it has with protection. I have one with raised bumps for an extra nice feel (UAG) and I also have one in all natural materials (leather bumper). I don't know if it's just that I'm used to the feel of the protection that now I actually prefer it or if it's just that it really is better. Either way, the protection will prove to have been worth it when there is that inevitable spill.

No Way in Hell I'm gonna buy a 900.00 phone and not putting it in a case.
When phones are dropped, or knocked off of something they break too easy.
I got a At&t phone. But I went to a Verizon store and got a UAG case to help protect the phone.

Even with a thin rubber clear case, this phone still feels so much better than my Note 4. But this screen sure does feel good naked.

Having said that........it feels so good !!!!

IMHO the best form factor, year in and year out, has always been HTC. Those magnificent phones feel so good in the hand. My beautiful sleek black Note 7, however, may feel EVEN better. I think it's a combo of the build quality itself and the spell that an all black unit has cast on me!!

The risks of going without protection are not to be dismissed, but at this point I can't seem to let go of the phone (!LOL!) when it is in my hands.

I just don't like screen protectors but get a nice case...There is a small cushie pouch by Garmin, that I use...this has 2 compartments (very soft)...I place my note 7 in 1 compartment by itself (zipper up), and the second compartment I put my portable charger and cord ...this is very soft bag...3 to 5 inches.
I have used this same bag for my s7 edge...when I finish using my phone I place my phone in the pouch...I have used the pouch for over a year and I have never a scratch! .....I just ordered a second case on EBay for $7.99!. On EBay the Garmin bag appears to be sq but has round edges..This is a great pouch for your phone!

The Note 7 feels great naked. For the first time is a while I actually like using an android phone naked. I have a case and will probably pick up a few others but I do go naked when I'm just hanging out at home or in my office . I took off the screen protector though. It was peeling up and just took away from the overall experience of this beautiful display.

Guilty as charged ....... regarding being naked I meant !!

I did preorder a DBrand skin thinking I was getting a Silver Note but got a Blue one instead. The skin is black carbon fiber and won't go well with the Blue's copperish sides so if anyone's interested in a cf skin let me know
