It has a been a good run with my S21 Ultra. However, I recently ordered and upgraded to the S23 Ultra. I am excited to see what it brings to the table for me. Better battery life, a brighter screen and 200mp camera, with what I would assume are also upgrades from the already fantastic camera on the S21U, are what I am excited for. I will be keeping my S21U though as a back up/bed time device. Lol. My wife has the S22U, and for me, that isn't much of an upgrade. She likes it though, as she came from the Note 10+. I kinda think the sweet spot for upgrading devices is every couple of years at least. Unless it's something major, I think one year upgrades are kind of pointless.
Not really a fan of going down from 12gb of RAM on the S21U to 8GB of RAM on the S23 Ultra. But from what I've read, it shouldn't really be much of an issue. But in terms of specs on paper, obviously that's a technical downgrade. I wasn't willing to pay an extra 200+ dollars for the 12gb RAM model, as it is standard on the 512 version. I definitely don't need 512 of storage.
