What do you guys currently think about your phones?

Has anyone returned it, or will you return it?

Have you broken the camera glass?

I'm personally still enamored by the device, I get great pics, it's fast and smooth (a few apps crash due to them not quite being optimized to Nougat, but A LOT less as of lately), no scratches.. no cracked glass.

I returned it within 3 weeks. Too much 'missing', too 'bland' in terms of looks and experience. Yes, it was fast. Yes, the wide angle camera was fun to play with for a few days (but picture quality is still crap compared to others unless you're in manual mode). So yup, had to go back to the S7 Edge. I wanted to try the Pixel, but the lack of waterproofing and no Samsung Pay were keeping me at bay... when they came out with the Verizon 'exclusive' (I'm on T-Mobile's JOD, I'm not buying outright), then that killed the Pixel for me, sadly.

would you take the Pixel over the v20 though?

I'm used to AMOLED screens for years. Would I be disappointed in the LG screen quality?

Yeah I saw that you returned it. In another forum I think you said that the V20 was lacking some of Samsungs features, and when I read that I thought "oh, just less bloatware" as a joke.. But yeah man, to each his own. I've taken some pretty good shots on my phone that has my iPhone 6plus and 7plus friends envious. But then again, the simple point and shoot on the Galaxy phones, the ease and I guess "dummy proof" photos are great. haha

I briefly thought about the Pixel before the V20 came out, but I'm also on T-Mobile.. and, I don't think it's aesthetically pleasing at all.

Mine never leaves my side, It does everything I need and is fast. Plus it will not explode in my night stand. LOL

I absolutely love mine. Much better than the Note 4 that I upgraded from. I really enjoy the music through the DAC more than I expected. I even bought some desktop speakers with a 50 watt amplifier in them. They sound awesome at my work desk at work.... :) My phone is "naked" and is as flawless as day one. Zero imperfections on my V20 :D

Not me this is a keeper for me right now. I'm more than happy with it. It's much faster than my 6 Edge Plus.Battery life is much better. All around I feel that the V20 is a much better device,

I have had mine since Verizon pre order and never looked back. This phone is fast, sleek and has been error free from day one. No scratches or dings and it's slipped out of my pocket a couple of times. I do have it cased so I expect minimal damage but you never know. My camera has been more than satisfactory and the DAC is awesome. I don't use the IR Blaster much but nice to have. Love the screen. It's much better than the G5 and the auto brightness is spot on.

So far I am loving mine as well(I've had mine since launch too). I don't miss the S7 Edge or Note 7 I had. The one phone I still love is the OP3 but not enough to switch back to it.

Pro's for me so far:
Battery life is GREAT.(for my use I'm getting 4.5 hours of SOT when in good signal coverage area - which is a little better than I got on either the note 7 or edge)
Screen is wonderful(and I prefer amoled) Auto brightness is very useable.
No lag(except for camera)
FPS is fantastic.
Wide Angle camera
Manual camera controls
Having a spare battery that fits in my wallet.

Cons
Auto camera settings need serious tuning
ATT microcell issues - Wifi calling works better.
Camera lag - I think the shutter is pretty slow at times.

I also wanted to say I have dropped mine about 8 times in a tudia TPU case usually while walking on hard surfaces withno issues, no cracked camera glass and no damage in general.

Don't know if you know, but the Gear s3's have Samsung pay in them, works on any phone. The only problem though is that the watches are $300 and some people don't like smart watches (Or watches in general)

No way I'm parting with mine any time soon. I'm still enamoured too. Love this phone!

I've had mine for one week. I haven't had a chance to put video to a real test, but we are supposed to get snow this weekend. Other than that, the phone is very fast. Battery life is comparable to what I got on my g3. To me a removable battery is a must. I will buy extra batteries and be ahead of anyone else that wants to justify a sealed battery. I love this phone!

So far been good. I did have a hiccup and returned the 1st one. I had a faint blue mark that you could only see in a white or light background.

I also was dropping calls like crazy. Turned out to be a sim card issue for the dropped calls.

I still get the occasional dropped call. In spots I didn't drop calls with my S5. However they seem to have minimized a little. I'm strictly running VoLTE due to I do use my Google maps and while waiting for a dock on the phone I do fire up my internet while chatting.

Overall I really like the phone. I really like the screen. It looks more natural and is clear. I have taken some pictures. In day light they look really good. In my house with just a lamp on they look kind of meh. But so did the S5.

Need to do more picture stuff. Overall I'm very happy with the phone. Its fast. It doesn't lag. Everything has been quick and trouble free.

Samsung will really need to do something significant with their S8 for me to jump ship next year.

My personal positives are. Removable battery, crisp and clear screen with the possibility of no screen burn in like I got on my S5. SD card.

Much more to list. But I'm very happy so far.

It took a while for me to like this phone. I'd had such a lousy experience with the V10 I think those memories were still fresh. I came from a short stint on iOS between the Note7 and this, and the S7E for a few months before that. It took the whole 14 day return window for me to decide I wanted to stick with it over going with the iPhone 7+. Now I'm extremely happy with it. LG has done a lot with UX since the G4/V10, and it's a refreshing break from the Samsung way of doing things. I am still using the stock launcher, which I never stuck with on my other LG's.

The camera has really grown on me. I still wish it was better in auto, but learning some tricks in manual mode has been a great experience. I'm also having a ton of fun with the video camera. I use Power Director and am having a blast making short videos to send to my fiance while she's back east.

Performance-wise, this is by far the best performing Android I've ever had. Usually within a week or so app crap brings on lag and stutter, and knock on wood, I've experienced no noticeable issues after the first few days that weren't of my own doing lol.

Battery life is very good still, and I like how fast it charges.

LG really did a great job with this phone. I just wish they'd get off their arses and learn now to properly market the thing! JGL seems like a cool dude and all, but they need more than the kid from Angels in the Outfield in a couple of commercials to get the word out lol

What makes Samsung Pay better than Android Pay?

No u miss my note7 .loved that phone.but I am very happy and satisfied with my V20.its a keeper.

I have only had mine since Monday. Today being Thursday. To be honest, so far I find the phone a little boring. I am coming from a Note 4. The camera needs some work. I can't say I get great pictures. I am hoping by next week my feelings will change. I bought mine on Swappa, so I can't take it back. I will keep it until at least until the Note 8 is released.

Android Pay can only use NFC to do payments. Samsung Pay can use NFC but also MST (basically act like a card was swiped) in case they don't have NFC at the store.
