I've lost count of how many times Google search stops working each day

Both my S7 and my wife's S7 need to reboot countless times a day to get Google Search to work.

Same thing happens to me. I close the app and that usually fixes it.

Voice to text also stops working sometimes when Google voice search fails

I am unable to retrain the voice when it's not working. The only solution for retraining the voice is to restart the phone. I'm beginning to think there was a bad update to the Google app

I have had this issue on every one of my S7's. It will randomly just not work. I went to retrain my voice and it keeps telling me the microphone doesn' work and the phone needs restarted. And just as randomly it will start working again. Does not matter if it's charging, screen on or off or if I have Now or Assistant open. To be fair, I loaded up S Voice and it did the same. I wonder if the mic is bad.

No it is not a mic problem with our two S7s. This morning my wife had so much trouble that I cleared system cache and deleted the Google app updates and reinstalled updates to Google and it has been working for her a lot better than recently

Problem has become much worse on both of our phones. Don't any of you out there have the same problem with using the microphone instead of the keyboard or using the voice search?

This happens to me plenty. I am using an international version, I wonder if that is why? I never had this problem before.

For me the strangest thing is that I don't see many related complaints. I base that on the fact that two of our phones here have the same problems with Google and that includes multiple versions of the Google app over recent weeks

Happens to my S7 too. I will type something into the Google Search bar on my home screen, and it just doesn't work. I've just been searching though Chrome at this point.
