Got online at Verizon at 7:45 am and ordered a gold 7 edge. Now I have to figure out how to make it work as well as my Droid Turbo 2.

Sweet, I have my unactivated ATT gold 7 edge version in best buy cart ready to preorder...just waiting to click on purchase

I'm upgrading from a droid turbo 1, ordered at 7:45 also (cool that it was available earlier than 8). I love my droid turbo but it has the camera's removed so I can bring it to work (DoD) so I'm really looking forward to having a phone for outside of work with a great camera.

may I ask why you are upgrading from the Droid Turbo 2? didn't that just come out? anyhow enjoy the s7e dude!!

The Droid Turbo 2 is the best phone I have had. I actually got rid of an Iphone 6s Plus to get it. It has a wonderful form for me and great battery, etc. I just like new technology and the S7 Edge will be better than the Droid Turbo 2. How much better is a matter of conjecture. I am giving up a shatterproof screen for IP68 Waterproofing. Also, the Snapdragon 820 will replace the 810 in the Droid. I'll probably keep both for awhile and just switch out the sim cards.

Ordered my Gold S7 at 8 a.m.. I was going to get the edge, but i figured ill try the regular S7. March 11th needs to come. Hopefully Verizon will ship the pre-orders early.
Cant wait to try the free VR headset as well.

I just pre-ordered an S7 for my wife and an S7 edge for myself through T-Mobile.

I remember either my S6edge or my S5 arrived a solid week before the official release date. I wonder if there's a chance TMO will send these out early?

T-Mobile usually tries to send it out early -- but I would still go on the date they gave you.

I pre-ordered last year w/ Tmobile for the S6 Edge. From my experience, just wait until you get an email saying order shipped. If you ask them they will give you conflicting information, if you call they will tell you it wont be shipped until it's available for sale, if you check online it will say processing or it may say a later ship date.

Last time mine said later ship date, then ended up shipping almost a week before it was available for purchase. Good luck with yours, I pre-ordered 2 as soon as I got into to work lol. one Black and one Gold.

AT&T has my silver S7 Edge shipping on March 7th. If last year was any indication, it may ship on the 3rd or 4th (Thursday/Friday) of the prior week.

I just pre-ordered two S7's in black from AT&T with an estimated ship date of March 7th. Sometimes AT&T ships early though so we'll see.

I pre ordered a gold s7 on Verizon. Mine states ship by March 11, but usually its a day or 2 before.

The ship date could possibly change. Ive seen ship dates change in a matter of hours depending on the demand.

Well I suppose there is a chance you may miss receiving it on Launch date (depending on demand).
