blame no one. The release date is 3/11, that's when you *should* get the phone. Others who are getting it earlier is a bonus.

btw with Best Buy you get the gear vr the day you pick up the phone. From carriers you have to do the mail in form and wait 4-6 weeks (at least for at&t).

I was told by the AT&T rep that I will pick up the phone and the gear together when it arrives at the store

After agonizing over the decision as I normally do with big purchases like this, and without official reviews, I caved and ordered. I did it through xfinity/vzw portal, assured by their CS I'd get the $200 GC on top of the samsung promotions (min $100 trade-in and gear). I also called the samsung promotion people (being 14th caller in line today) and he said I will qualify for the watch since the order is still placed online with verizon and the location code corresponding to the xfinity-verizon partnership would be acceptable, and I asked him to make a note in my file with them that he told me this. So I hope to get $300 back plus the S2, trading in my original "what-I-thought-was-worthless" Galaxy S.

Samsung promo guy was also confused by the 300,000 gift limit as to whether this included the S2. He thought verizon would have a separate allocation. So I didn't get a clear answer on that. He also told me it was the 3G watch.

Does your order show the 100 min trade in? My first order does but my 2nd and 3rd orders do not. I am trying to figure out how to get those lines to do it. I ordered all 3 phones from the xfinity portal.

I stopped checking my shipping status. I figured none of us Verizon people will see any movement until hopefully Tuesday.

ive been checking this site daily hoping you had updates with your order.....and its been like mine so i never posted. We are all in the same boat. the should make a movie called " The Waiting Game: Android Central: Verizonians"

Would be surprised though if documentaries came out about people waiting around and stuff like this for phone in the future. HINT HINT to movie makers. Credit me though for the idea

I almost changed my order to go for the silver cos it looks so bloody nice but for me the gold will suit better generally. I will grab a new micro card for it too. I got in for the bonus Gear VR too so that should be interesting. Checking out clear cases now and waiting for user recommendations for a glass screen protector eventually. I skipped the 2 last Samsung releases so upgrading my Telstra plan to grab this

Just wait for the promo code that is supposed to be emailed to you (it said within 5 days of purchase you get the instructions) and sign up for it later on the trade-in page. If I don't get this soon I'll call and ask about it. When I went through the portal for the first order it told me the phone was worth $0 and didn't let me add it to the cart as a trade-in.

Thanks for the reply. Yea, I never got a code but that may be because it already shows an appraisal value. However, they were only 28 and 13 dollars for those lines.

I feel like I should call Comcast but I don't think they can change it. I need Verizon to manually adjust it but they say they can't unless I order through them (means I'll lose out on the 200 GC).

If I can get my first order to show it, why couldn't it have done it for the other 2 lines? It's so stupid.

I bet I don't see any change in my status till Monday. It says 2-5 business days and I ordered before 2pm on Wed. It has said shipping 3/7 than it said order has shipped but my status on Sprint hasn't changed. I can't wait to get this phone.

So this kinda backs up what the Verizon CSR told me on the phone and I posted about earlier. To summarize, she also spoke with the Samsung promo department who made it sound like all Verizon customers would get in on the Samsung promo as long as you signed up for it during the dates listed. I'm still skeptical.

It's been about 18 hours. Maybe nothing happens on Sunday? Or is it slower because I went through Comcast? Now I'm the impatient one.

BTW for people who ordered by VZW online, how long did it take for order status to change from processing, check back later to something else? I didn't get an email yet either. It's been about 18 hours. Maybe nothing happens on Sunday? Or is it slower because I went through Comcast? Now I'm the impatient one.

Over in the s7e forum, a lot of folks are saying vzw just charged their credit cards. Shipping may come early or the regional fed ex hubs will get them this week to deliver Friday.

Mine has the 1858 date at the moment. What is interesting to me is your order #. I wonder how these are sequenced/generated. You ordered 2/23 and I ordered 3/5 and the difference in order # is less than 500. Also how can it ship on a Sunday? Carriers don't work Sunday do they? Maybe your label was generated.

Yea my order number is like 213 thousand and my order was placed at 8:08 on 2/23. My status hasn't changed.
I've had fedex deliver on Sunday before but it's rare.
