This is how it's done with no carrier molesting of phone and unlocked right out the box without having to get an international version, something other OEM's refuse to do. I avoid carrier branded phones now and buy unlocked unmolested.

Unlocked. Silver on T-Mobile and will buy a new memory card.

Got my order confirmation but when I try to log in with my credentials I get the message "Enter a valid email address". Very strange. I created a new account when doing the pre-order check out and verified my email address from the link in the email.

Edit: Nevermind, working now!

Still having this issue about entering a valid email address when trying to log in to view my account information, order information, etc. Anyone else having this issue? The only thing about my email address is that it has a '-' in it. But never had an issue anywhere else.
 
I'm having the same issue, I was just about to ask this. It keeps saying invailid email. Then I tried my order number and password and I got the same error. Tried password recovery by entering my order number, it said me an email to make a new password, when I clicked the link it sent me it took me to and htc error page saying make sure I enter the link in correctly. I don't know what the deal is.

Yeah there Account Status site is pretty buggy/odd. I can view my status on my PC at work where I placed the order - but if I try to look it up at home, I get "no orders found". Weird.
 
Called and canceled my pre-order, then did another one with the coupon. Went the unlocked carbon gray route! So pumped for his phone

What number did you call? I pre-ordered, then got the code, and sent them an email to cancel the first order. I already pre-ordered another, but my PayPal has been charged twice now so I'd like to get that one charge taken off.
 
When pre ordered start.. the phone list as "in stock" maybe HTC will ship the phone early..
 
I called 888-216-4736 To cancel my first order so I could do another preorder with the coupon code.

Called customer service and they assure me I'll get the $100 refund even though I had already ordered. Be careful with the cancellations, though. I remember with the M7 when people did this to get free cases or whatever it was at the time. The problem was that some people ended up with 2 phones, even though they said their first order had been canceled. Hopefully it will go better this time around.
 
Yeah I was a little worried because I didn't get an email saying it was canceled, I got a blank email from them. So I called 3 times, and a guy gave me a cancel id. After I talked to him, I called again, and told someone about my situations, and then I gave them the order number and cancel id number, and she verified that my first order was cancelled and I don't need to worry about being billed twice.

Jumped on the $599 deal and ordered the unlocked version to be used on Cricket (ATT). I got the silver one since I prefer it and gray was out of stock anyways. I'll probably end up having SD card.

This issue remains for me. Tried an online chat only to be told I have to call sales! Not sure what sales has to do with logging into my account!
Kind of annoying to have this kind of issue. Are other people still experiencing this or were you able to get it resolved?

I had the same problem, and the help desk transferred me to sales tech support. They confirmed my account info and did a password reset. Everything has worked fine since.

Ok, I guess I need to give them a call then. Even trying to change my password online doesn't work, but I am pretty sure it is not my password that is the issue.
 
The support person said there is a known glitch with their portal to DigitalRiver that causes the problem. If it was known, maybe taking the time to fix it before a major product launch would have been a wise move?
