Yea, HTC has been saying early May since they announced the phone on the 12th. They say it on the pre-order page too. The're usually on-time so I don't think there's really much for us to do but wait and expect shipping confirmations to start going out in the first couple weeks of May.

Early May to me is first week of may....anything after the first week is "mid-may" in my opinion

I can't speak for TMO as I am with ATT so if you already have a nano sim card in a current phone you would just put that one in the new HTC phone. Now if you are using a Micro SIM then you would need to contact them to obtain a Nano sim card. I

Yep, I truly hope it ships beginning of May and doesn't slip to the mid May point. Would be really nice if they starting shipping now for people to receive them next week. I hate pre-ordering with vague shipping expectations...but I did.

I use T-Mo and have been swapping out unlocked phones for the past few months and you do not need to contact them at all. Even if you get a new sim you just punch it in on their website and you are good to go.

The 30th being a Saturday... I doubt it. I expect shipments to begin Tuesday May 3rd when some carriers release it.

HTC*Supervisor. This was after three escalations through support then managers. Please see my previous post.*

Was told shipping "officially" starts May 1st but should actually start 29th or 30th.*

The supervisor similarly offered the option of cancelling my announcement day order to change my shipping method but said it would ship the 4th week of May if I did. This was a few days ago.

I agree there is no continuity between most information*HTC*support is providing or has provided. I was getting different answers from each*phone*call and online ticket. It wasn't until I spoke to a supervisor that it seemed someone finally knew what they were talking about (And in great detai

That falls in line with what I said a few threads back that if Verizon gets them in the store on Friday for folks to get hands on then those that preordered from HTC would see theirs shipping around the same day which is what the 29th. They would want to make sure all orders have started shipping if a store was going to have it for display and hands on.
