"I've ordered my HTC 10!" (Order & Shipping Discussion)

I was told by HTC customer order support last night that mine probably won't ship until end of May/early June. Let's just say, I'm a little pissed right now. Don't send me an email promising me I'll get it before everyone else, when in reality, almost everyone else will have theirs before me. :(
 
Mine is out for delivery, on a lunch break at home hoping it'll arrive before I have to head back to work:/

Excellent :) Look forward to hearing your initial impressions of the device.
Word to the wise. DO NOT lose the little metal sim card that ships with the phone. It is actually part of the packaging and look just like a sim card. it has the HTC logo on it. Be sure to remove it and keep it in a safe place.

It took me awhile to selectively migrate my setup to the new phone, but coming from a M7, worth the wait. Did not have too much time to really sit and tweak it fully. It is so damn configurable, I will have to really work on it color/theme wise.

My one gripe is without being in case I keep hitting icons around the screen edge, especially when I hold it in the landscape position.

Goddman it! Just got home for lunchtime and missed FedExby 5 minutes!!
Had a doortag, so it looks like i'll be able to pick it up today after 5PM. So hopefully I'll be able to make it.
 
I missed my phone as well. It was delivered while I was on lunch. I wasn't about to leave work for it. I'll just pick mine up when I get off work.

Been lurking for the past couple of days. Figured I would join the fun. I'm not entirely certain what I did to stumble on this thread, but it's been great seeing that people have been obsessing about a phone order/delivery in the same manner I have. Good to know I'm not alone :-) -- I don't typically get this excited about a phone, but there's a first time for everything. NOTE: I'm excited, not angry. I see some have been quite upset about the roll out, and I guess If I had ordered nearly a month ago and was still waiting, I may just be a little angry too. I ordered on 5/2 at 11:30PM EST from HTC (Carbon Gray). Today, 5/5, at 1PM I received two emails simultaneously. One from HTC and another from my Credit Card Company. The Credit Card Company denied the transaction fearing that it could be fraud. I logged back in to HTC and had them process the same card after assuring my creditor that this was NOT fraud. Now the order says pending fulfillment. Anyone else have a similar experience with the card being declined? I'm hoping all is well, and it appears to be fine, but I have not received a follow up email from HTC/Digital River saying that they processed the card a second time and it was accepted.
 
For those who had opted for the free shipping option, did you get tracking info before you received your package?

If so, how long after the status changed to pending fulfillment did you get that email from them?

Happy to see that we finally have some movement on this. I pre-ordered on 04/15 and mine changed status today around noon EST. Went for free shipping though, should've paid extra but meh.

I had to call them yesterday to confirm and get a transaction number
 
Charged.... But no further update....

Ordered through the HTC site for the Verizon model.... Charge happened last night...

Fingers crossed for something soooon!
 
When did you order yours?

My original order was the 20th, but since they don't have a system in place to change the card to be charged, I had to cancel it and create a new one on the 26th. But my main gripe is, it still said shipping early May at that time. In the past, they've updated their pre-order page if they weren't going to be able to fulfill as expected. For example, when I preordered the incredible, it told me it was going to be 6-8 weeks late. So how come, with better technology 6 years later, they couldn't have given me that warning with this pre-order? Then I wouldn't have been as upset.

When I pre-ordered they were offering free shipping. That turned out to be standard FedEx overnight. After my order switched to 'Pending fulfillment', I got the shipping info the following night, but at that point the package was already in transit and it arrived the next morning. It was nice to see that even though I had gotten the email at night, it had already been received by the courier rather than just processd and waiting
