I've tried everything for my battery life, and nothing. please help

So i rooted my evo shift and flashed cm7 and i like it alot, but my battery drain was crazy.
Then I read about changing kernels and i did. I went through x99(smartass settings) bnice's kernel, and scary kernel at smartass. I dont over clock at all. I dont understand my battey drain. I calibrated my battery as well. I went to sleep at 60% and 7 hours later at 48% most came from android system, idle and cell standby. After waking up, i flashed a sense rom and hated it, so i restored my back up and now it says 8% voice calls, and i have calls made! please help, if i need to download something I would appreciate the links.

How is the signal quality where you are regularly? Are you flipping back and forth to roaming or anything?

Yeah its pretty crappy, I turn off mobile data when it's really bad and when I roam.
But since the new x99 kernel came out and using RockMod its not bad actually.

try turning off 3g, 4g, gps and bt when ur not useing them i do that the phone last me almost 2 days
