J3 2016 flashlight started working intermittently help?

[AC Question]

I have a Galaxy J3 2016 that is less than 4 months old. Flashlight worked great until last night. Had phone on charger and the house/ electrical threw a fuse. Now my flashlight won't work 7 times out of 10 times I try to use it. Thinking the power surge/ tripped fuse my have damaged my phone. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you only talking about the flashlight feature? What if you turn the camera flash on when you take a picture -- does it light up then?
