j5 apps not responding wifi and data signal good

[AC Question]

samsung j5 is working ok with good wifi signal and mobile data, however it is not connecting to any apps which requre data connection. already tried removing battery - no change

Check the phone security settings that may have change overnight or the apps need to be deleted/reinstalled or updated via Google Play.
