J7 wont keep playing music apps

[Android Central Question]

My new Samsung J7 will play my music app when phone is being used. However if the phone is left alone (untouched) the music stops after a few minutes. The app is still in use when the phone is turned back on but must be restarted by going to app & touching play button. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Is it the stock Music app from Samsung, or a different one? Any power-saving modes turned on, or 3rd party battery-savers installed? How about "memory cleaner" apps?
