Wide Fold 8 looking forward

$2899 is insane. Especially since there is practically no app support to take advantage of the open screen. Everything is just bigger. And not necessarily optimized.

When the ZF 8 Wide comes out, I'd think it'd negate the advantage of the trifold.

The wider form factor on the ZF8W when you open it up will be wider than the ZF7 and close to the trifold where the difference will be negligible. And only have one hinge instead of two and as thin as the ZF7.

I've actually booted my S23U back up today and spending the day updating all the apps, and making sure all my data is synced and on the old phone and going to put my sim back in that one and play with the Ultra until the 26U is announced.

I think I gave it 3 months running it full time. It's a cool phone. Larger screen nice at times. And could live with some of the faults of it. The cameras are just just meh. And not really good even at 3x.

I'll give the S23U a run again to get re-acquainted with the Ultra life and see if I miss the ZF7 and when the 26U comes out will decided and see if I trade in the S23U or maybe the ZF7 for it.

I wonder if Samsung will bump up the Flip6 trade-in from $915 to $1500 for the TriFold.
